Fat Bob FXDF exhaust / air / XIED advice
I just got a 2008 Fat Bob bone stock with 5000 miles and am looking to at least sound like a Harley instead of a Honda. Some quick research shows the cheap common fix is used Rush slip ons. I'm tempted to get black pipes, air and race tuner but I think it's way too much money for me chasing performance on a bike that is already plenty quick for me and just needs sound. Any advice before I do the wrong thing by getting the slip ons? Do they just bolt on?

I was going to get the 1.75 or 2.0 for that reason, but read XIED is a good upgrade even if you don't go big on the mufflers to correct the stock lean condition. Right now the bike runs great and I don't want to screw that up. Anyone out there have experience with XIED on stock bike with Rush 1.75 or 2.0 mufflers? Did it run better or did anyone find it started popping or didn't run as smooth?
