Suggestions on good pipes for 04 electraglide, i currently have screaming eagle slip ons but i want a full system or should i run drag pipes. I want a good sound and power and what will i have to do to jetting?
If you want good power, you do not want drag pipes. Sound is something that's a personal thing, listen to other bikes and see what they sound like.
As far as jetting, I could suggest a #46 slow jet and a #190 hi jet and shim the needle with 2 - #4 washers, readjust the idle mixture screw after uncapping it and it will not get any better than this setup.
If you want a full system I would go with the Rinehart True Duals. The kit comes with header pipe and mufflers for around $609.00 shipped from Eastern Performance Cycles (check them out on Ebay but call them for price). Great sound and quality. Check out the pictures on my Photo Gallery.
I'm not sure about jet size for these pipes since I'm running an EFI.
Rineharts!!!! Just make sure the damn plug stays in.....should it come out then you can go to an auto parts store and buy an oxygen sensor for a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup V6. Take and cut the wires off and run with that until you get a new plug.....
This happened to me last weekend during the ROT Rally in Austin.....rode the whole weekend and all the way back to Houston with zero issues....

When I installed my Rineharts I put silicon sealer on the threads of the plug before installing it. I've got around 4000 miles on them now and it is still tight.
