emergency help needed
i just pulled my cam cover to look at the tensioners. new to me bike. when looking at the cam support plate with everything still intact, there are two tensioners. on the left side (looking straight at bike) there is the outer tensioner. on the right there is a guide or tensioner that is plastic and clips into the support plate. that one was broke in a buch of smaller pieces. its black. is this a replaceable part from HD? i looked in my service book and see the piece, but no referance to it. whats the danger of running for a few days without it. the outer tensioner shoe is worn about 20%. please anyone have any thoughts on this piece?
