how do i measure for new pipes for my 80 inch 1996 heritage classic? A guy on my work's classified ads has a set of ends that came off a road king. Will they work?

diameter of the pipe at end. What you could also do is get the parts manual for both bikes at a dealership and look at the illustrations. Find out if any of the techs that work there know harleys that old. some dont. the ones that do can tell you off the top of their head.
