Default Thunderheader

I want to go with a ceramic black thunderheader for my '06 Night Train. On the website it says that the correct pipe for me to use is the 1027 model. However, I like when the rear exhaust pipe wraps around the timing cover like model 1017. I have 3" forward control extensions. Would the 1017's fit?

Better call RichProducts and ask them. Otherwise, you might end up loosing some $$$ on a swap or something....

I could be wrong but I think the two part #'s are for two different models. The one with the rear header pipe that wraps around the timing cover is for 1985-99 Softails and the other style is for the Twin cam 2000-06 Softail. Hope this helps good luck........
