looking to try a 2 into 1 on my 2011 heritage with 255 cams and rush slipons.how much difference is there between the different brands as far as increasing low end torque?there is alot of difference in price so whats the real world difference?looking towards a cobra or vance and hines.
It all comes down to what you want to spend...From all the articles I've read, the Thunderheader offers the most HP/Torque gains and is the most costly..
From experience, in 2006 I picked up a used V&H Pro-Pipe on E-Bay for $225 with shipping! When it arrived the baffle was covered in black soot which indicated that the engine it was attached to was running way too rich...The seller was not at all pleased with the performance.. I installed the pipe without any changes to the carb settings and on the 1st trial run noticed a huge gain in low-end grunt before the clutch was fully engaged!!! I'll NEVER use drag-pipes again!!!
