Default Cutting pushrods?

When preparing to cut out stock pushrods, what happens if you cut them and the engine is not all the way at tdc? Does it mess something up?

having your motor a TDC is so YOU know that everything inside is at a certain position. Or a referance point to start adjusting from .

Nothing will happen, except the pushrods will be in 2 pcs.

I just cut mine last night, and I did turn the motor to tdc, and then check to see that I could turn the push rods with my fingers. That way you know that there is no pressure on them when you cut them. Probably does not make any difference, but that is the way I did mine.
