I tried the touring section but no response-I have an 07 ultra with V/H Pro Pipe. I am wanting to check the baffle because the exhaust has started sounding tinny at idle and has lost the rumble sound when i hit the throttle hard-so i'm thinking it could be the baffle. I took off the two screws holding the end cap and tried to pry it off the with a mallet and screw driver, but does not budge. Any suggestions on getting it off?
Try some pb blaster and maybe running the bike a short while to heat it up and expand the pipes. Might take spraying and heating a few times before it works.
PB Blaster is spray lube used for stuck bolts, it is penetrating oil. There are other brands, but the pb works well. It should be available at most auto parts stores.
