Not impressed with cams!
I didn't take picks but the build went by the book. the only tools i bought were the inch pounds torque wrench. top end was easy to tear down. my buddy had it appart in about 45 min. (he's a car mechanic). here is the price breakdown. I did the cams separate through a shop it was,
cams Kuryakyn tc2's $279.00
labor $400.00
Weisco domed 10.5:1 pistons big bore $275.00
factory jugs bored at local machine shop $120.00
heads ported and bwls blended same machine shop $200.00
1.94 intake valves and 3 angle valve job $75.00
Manley valves $35.00
SE thick head gaskets bring the compression to 10:1 $29.95
Labor was free since we did it ourselves
pulls like a freight trane from about 1800-5300 rpms
the cams are rated to higher but there is no need. I could get more if went with the thin gaskets.

Ok everyone I am pleased to say I am very impressed with the now. it wasn't the cams. It was the mufflers I put thunder header slip ons on my bassani's and uncorked a monster. when the mechanic gave it back to he said I will see you in a couple weeks for a new tire and a clutch. The thing rolls on and breaks loose ion first. I have an 18 metzler on the back too, not a hard rubber harley tire. its unreal how the thing pulls now.
I am deffinately interested in what the dyno would show. that way I could share with everyone a working combo. I can tell you that I run neck and neck with my buddies independance with a 100 inch revtech. But in the same reguards I blow away my other buddy on his big dog with a 107 inch. Clutch is slipping now too. I scared myself the other day. sometimes sideways catches you by surprise.
I went thought this whole post the other day, wow, what a comeback!
I had a set of those Kuryakin cams, but i never ran them, glad to know the work.
I ended up running HQ cams, and suprisingly, I thought I would have to jet richer too, but the bike is running best with the jetting I had on it when it still was and 88!
when I had the motor apart I thought, well its bigger must need more fuel. So I set it up the way it came out of the box, 160 main, left the #27 pilot jet and the 97 needle, I did however switch to the #60 squirter for a while. I thought the bike was not running its best and Im thinking more fuel, I gave it the 170 main and it ran so bad I almost had to push it home! Im like WTF over?
so I went completely the other way, stuffed the 155 main in and it ran a little better, then the 152, better still, Im like no way. Im thinking lets try the 150, at this point the bikes doing wheelies, OK, ill leave it here!
I still thought the bikea little lean in the mid range so I stuck the #96 needle in and start to run it, and change the clip up and down, in the middle it was so rich in pinged at 3/4 thottle. Suprised, i returned to the #97 needle and ran the lowest clip for a couple of weeks, then I remembered about the squirter switch I make, cuz the part-thottle roll-ons felt kinda week. Put the #70 back in and moved the clip back to the middle and bam, the sweet spot finnaly!
I also ran a smaller imulsion tube that i bought from HQ to help tune the mid range and it did wonders.
I know every bike is a little different, but its suprising to see how much different sometimes!

Two bikes later but i still miss this white bike. i never updated this post but the dyno numbers were 115HP and 114TQ. New child support claim from the ex wife forced sale of this bike. it was a monster build find myself "chasing the dragon" trying to replicate those numbers and that 60ft burnout on demand.
