choke problem

Default choke problem

2006 carb sportster custom

if I pull the choke it jumps back, so I have to pull it by hand till engine warming.
Any idea?

Back off on the nut that holds the cable to the bracket, then tighten the outside knurled **** to add tension to the cable, then tighten rear nut. Careful not to over tighten or the plastic will break.

If that doesn't work, then it's time to replace the cable. Do not oil the cable.

What he said and for sure don't overtighten, I did .. But only once ..
