My 2006 heritage has a low speed miss or light bucking at around 10 to 15mph in first gear. It will do it in second also if I'm going slow enough. I'm not talking about slow speed chug (going to slow for the gear). It Idles great, pulls good once out of the low end speed and runs great in the mid and high ranges. I put a new set of Harley plugs in and had the stealer in stall the new style fuel injectors. (06 had a problem with injectors) I've also run some fuel injector cleaner and so for nothing seems to solve the problem. So any feedback would be appreciated.
Maybe you have a hole in the fuel line? Very common. Can be very intermittent and does not always have the same symptom. Google harley pin hole fuel line.
"So when diagnosing problems that you can not seem to get rid of, one final test is always to run the bike down to the point where the fuel lite is on, then open the gas cap and listen for a high pressure fuel leak."
Their is another way to test with removing the fuel pump fuse. Cant remember exactly how. Search in the softail forum also and you will find info.
Thanks for the feedback Kumaride. I,m beginning to think its running lean at low speed so I ordered a tuner. I will try the test you posted for the fuel line. At this point I have an open mind. Thanks again.
