07 starter grind

does anyone have any problems with there 07 dyna or anything making a starter grind when starting the bike?it sounds horrible

Yes. My wife's 07 Street Bob with 3k miles on it. It does it in about 1/10 starts...doesn't matter if the motor is cold or hot (same with the weather). I have a 5 year warranty on the bike and need to get it over to the MoCo and see what they say. From my chair, seems like the Bendix isn't fully engaging. Weak power? I don't think so but maybe...all connections are clean and solid. Bike kept on a trickle charger.
