Head Gaskets

Does someone have experience with afetrmarket gaskets. Have a Cometic set for a 96 TC and another aftermarket set. The stock 96 is 3.750 bore. Both aftermarket sets are about 3.780 versus the stock HD of approx 3.850 which will have some compression impact and both have larger dowel pin locators than stock so aligning them on the cylinder is difficult. What am I missing... Thanks

You just need the appropriate bore Commetic gasket in the appropriate thickness. Lots of options here. Gaskets in .030 thru .040 in bores for 3.875,3.937,4.0,4.06, and 4.125".
