I have on '07 Screamin' Eagle Ultra I have named THE JESTER (the front fiaring looks like a COURT JESTER HAT)!! I just dyno'ed it stock and then after exhaust, A/C and Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner:
DYNO RESULTS (I am told these Dynojet dynos run a lil bit low, BUT the American Rider mag. Borla Dynojet dyno test on a stock SE ULTRA JESTER showed 83 HP stock and 96 ft. lbs. of torque!?!?)
My Bike's STOCK MAX. HP: 76.60?? STOCK MAX. TORQUE FT. LBS: 95.09
AFTER INSTALL OF: D & D FAT CAT QUIET BAFFLE 2 into 1 EXHAUST, STAGE 1 A/C w/ K & N filter, and SERT:
NEW MAX. HP: 93 (@ 5400 RPM) NEW MAX. TORQUE in FT. LBS. @ 3100 RPM: 104
The AWESOME RESULT NUMBER in my opinion was that my SE ULTRA was over 100 ft. lbs of torque from 2400 ALL THE WAY to 4800 RPM, so ya gotta love the low-RPM-end torque #'s of these 2 into 1 pipes!!!!
The Quiet Baffles sound great and I would rate their dB output at about 75% of the D & D Regular Baffle, but I fear the Q.B.'s may hurt performance numbers a little as SKYCUSE2's JESTER made 94 HP and 110 lbs of Torque out of the EXACT same setup as mine BUT WITH THE D & D REGULAR BAFFLES!
The Quiet Baffles are NICE at idle, growly thru the mid-range pulls but still not too loud, and still wail and scream at full throttle.
AND, the best news is that we are going to have 70 degree weather here all weekend in Omaha for LOTS of riding!
ALL OF YOU HAVE A GREAT AND SAFE WEEKEND IN THE WIND!!
AND PLEASE, keep posting YOUR dyno numbers and Modifications!!
Running the Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1 on my 03 RK great sound but at highway speed you can hardly hear the pipe from the bike unless you realy twist the wick. Like Biggzed said with the disk system the back pressure and the sound can be adjusted
This all started when my bike went from using a quart of oil every 1000 miles to over a quart in less than 400. I bought the bike used with 7500 miles and it had the stage II big bore kit installed by a dealer. That's where I think the oil problem began.
Anyway, as it turns out the front piston has 2 spots where blow by was occuring. A significant amount of carbon build up on top of the pistons. Oil punp was scored up, cam tensioners were all but wore out.
I'm glad my mountain trip was unexpectedly canceled or I may have ended up with a catastrophic engine failure during the trip.
Well now I'm adding to my original plan, oil pump, lifters and roller rockers.
I've tried the D&D fat cat, great performance, great sound, but has a dip in TQ at 2000 to about 3200 RPM. I tried the Thunder header lost about 6 HP and 4 ft/TQ. I am running the Supertrapp now and like it the best, great sound not to loud until you crank on it, at highway speeds I still hear my tunes.
the best part of the Supertrapp is the TQ curve starts at 2000 RPM around 105 TQ and ****inues up without a dip, I have run all three listed and by far the best performance and sound to ME is the Supertrapp
