Looking for pipe(s) for the Low Rider and have found this pipe on clearance. The price is very right and I like the look of this pipe more than any other 2:1 I have seen; it's the only one I like the look of in fact.
My goal for the bike is to get over 100 ft-lbs of torque in the 3500 RPM range and I want to do it without resorting to a big bore or stroker kit. Plan on replacing the stock pipes, adding the Ness Big Sucker and rejetting the carb all at once and as I get the time/money replace the cams and eventually the pistons and valvetrain. Somewhere in there I'll get the heads worked for smooth, high velocity flow. Not too terribly concerned with really high flow volume as I'm looking for streetable torque not high-end HP.
Anyone have any experience with this pipe? Is it going to help me in the right direction for the type of power I'm looking for?
