Newbie here contemplating a new a/c.
My service manual states that the breather bolts are 11mm.
2011 Fat Boy Lo
I was looking at several a/c's and came up on one I liked-only problem is that the install pdf file on the web site states that the breather bolts are 3/8”-16 x 1-1/4”. Funny thing is that the web site states it is compatible with my bike.
How does 3/8”-16 x 1-1/4 breather bolts fit into a hole made for 11mm bolts? Am I not understanding something?
Any of you that changed out your a/c have any issues with different size breather bolts? I'm going to guess I can't re-use my stock breather bolts with this particular a/c.
I have an '06 and the only metric screw is the battery terminal screws, 10mm, and that's the wrench size, not the screw size. The only thing I can think of is that the manual would be referring to the socket size you need to remove it, 11 mm ? Take off your air filter and check it out before you buy anything.
