HD Reman program
Considering options for repairing/replacing my torn up TC88. The rebuild itself would cost $3395 (may as well spring the couple extra hundred for the 95 kit) but they want to pull the motor and reinstall it in order to warranty it... has anyone else done this? About how much was the whole job? I know it's going to add a significant amount to have the dealership pull and install the motor

The best thing about the reman program is the new motor comes with your orignal engine number on it, having it done at the dealer does add expence to it but still should be under warranty no matter who installs it

I had an S&$ 111 ($5500) installed on my 06 SG at the dealership - 10 hrs x $80 included tuning (carb'ed). An indy was going to do it at half the price but he was taking so long i got impatient and to it to the dealer.
