I agree, something doesn't sound right with the comp being that high.I know the SE 255 will bring the comp up a bit, due to the early close on the cam,but I don't think it would be that high!!! Having had my motor done,I don't like the 10psi difference in the cylinders.I agree with fellow posters that it could be do to the cc's in the heads,But I thought HD used C&C machines when doing heads. This would make for a better head? would it not??Call Doc at HDMD(google him)tell him your story ,& ask him what he thinks?? He is in Florida. He's a engine builder/tuner ,who builds tons of motors each year; He also teaches Indy's how to properly tune Harley's!!

The numbers are the same as the first test!!! There would seem to be something I cant mesure, such as combustion chamber dimensions gasket thickness or some other thing I just dont know about. I have talked to Doc and being accross the country he cant put a reason on it either. Ive been told oil use can still get by the rings even with high compression, and that I might have gone to synthetic to soon at just under a thousand miles. I was running pretty rich, so perhaps I have been washing the cylinders. Harry Perry ( the indi) leaned it out some on the Techlusion so I will see how that works. Another harley dealer says to let the bike find its own oil level suggesting that almost down to the fill mark is OK as long as It stays there:Hmmmm Thanks again for all of the input. You are a great bunch of people. Mike.
