Newbie Question - RoadKing Classic stock bike
I have a question and am a soon to be new harley owner. This coming weekend I plan on purchasing a new 07 Road King Classic stock. What I am looking for is opinions and suggestions for adding a little more rumble to the exhaust/pipes from the way it comes stock. I'm not doing any racing, not trying to slam any more performance really out of the bike at this point, but rather just want to get a little more throat-ie or rumble from the bike.
Any one have any suggestions? If so, if you could post where/what/and approx $ amount your ideas will cost... that would be an awesome help too.
I appreciate it guys. Great board. I'm learning a ton!!
Ok since you want some rumble you need to understand that the new 07 are very very lean from the factory as far as fuel goes, so adding a set of after market pipes will require a fuel program to get the bike to run correctly. I would suggest a basic set of slip on to keep the budget to a minimum, as well having the bike tuned after to ensure you are not harming the engine by running it too lean. A Se race tuner or Pc III USB will both get the job done. Good luck on the new scooter
