Lifter testing
Anyone know how to 'test' a hydraulic lifter/tappet?
My friends bike is acting strange after his adjustment of the lifters, so we're thinking about checking the lifters and replace those that are bad. He has a box of supposedly unused lifters, but I want to check each before installing them.
Any advice on how to test them?

I agree,If youve got 1 bad, theres a pretty good chance their all ready to be replaced.what do you mean "acts weird",if their bad, they`ll bleed off & get noisy
I agree change them....

Happy to help out in that department, if you'd like to give us a call.
