American Customs exhaust users Input
Anyone out there running American Customs exhausts what can you tell me about them and do they sound as advertised or is it more hype BS?

I can only comment on their baffles. My OEM Dyna bullet mufflers had been subjected to a stage II bafflectomy by the po and they sounded like crap, and were way too loud for me. So I ordered AC's Mid Rumble baffles & installed same myself. Easy as pie. Fit like a glove. Sounds absolutely outstanding, to me. Before with the gutted mufflers, it was horrendously loud and very harsh/clacky. With the Mid Rumbles, it is only slightly quieter, but the sound is lower & more of a pleasant deep rumble, more like what I expect a HD to sound like. I'm extremely satisfied, and so are my neighbors at 05:00 when I leave for work.

I have the Bomber series pipes on my 2012 street glide 103, they sound awesome, I like the rumble, not overdone in my opinion, however I did order the mid range baffles with so when I go on super long trips I can toss em in. I did do a power vision tune and a fuel moto air filter (549deal)with and run 2 different flashes for the mid baffle and no baffle options. I'm happy with the set up. If you watched the clips on website and you tube. ya they sound pretty close. The standard bomber pipe has only a surround type baffle, the mid baffle addition is a perforated tube setup. both sound good. not a bad price either.

I have the bomber mid rumble on my 2007 R/K. It took me maybe 30 min. to install, very easy. the sound is great. No mapping reguired. When I ride with the boys I remove my baffles, you know its a guy thing. I can still hear the tunes on my (reckless motor cycles) detachable fairing!
