I have a 09 St.Bob with a SE 204 cam, SE air cleaner, and SE street performance slips.
I'm okay with the sound of the pipe because I don't like it too loud.
My question is - how well does pipe flow. I know its not a performance pipe but is it really restricting my air flow?
I heard of someone drilling some additional holes in the baffle but I don't want to potentially ruin the pipe.
I almost forgot - I also have a TTS tuner. I've done some V-tunes and the bike runs good but I get the sense there is a little more in there. Unfortunately, I don't really have the cash to take it to a Dyno tuner right now ... maybe I should just leave well enough alone.
Call the guys at Big City Thunder; power baffles is their business and they have a quiet baffle that is supposed to quiet things down a bit without sacrificing performance. Some guys run that baffle in front of the OEM baffle. If you have the TTS and know how to Vtune, you can experiment.
