I got a set of pistons from a buddy, no box, only numbers I can see on the pistons are
22122-99. Also STD, and the SE logo.. They are cast, they have a small pop up dome on them,
I'm pretty sure they are the 22661-99a pistons.... But not 100%
After some heavy research it looks like im right, the 22122-99a is the part # for a single piston. These are the 22661-99a high comp cast pistons...
Prob is they will set my comp to high if I use the .030 HG. Around 10.6... Either have to mill the piston domes or use a .045 stock head gasket!!!!!
The cams I wanna use need 9.3 to 10.2 comp.
Even if you use the .045" gaskets you should check the valve/piston dome clearance. The cam kit should come with the specs that state the valve lift at the overlap period.
