Has anyone bought or know anyone who is using this mistfree system. I just read some stuff on it and it looks like it could be a good fix for thr blow-by. For just over 200 clams it might be worth the price.
I bought them but haven't installed them yet. It's an off-season prject. I read quite a bit about the breathers and they do look promising. Sorry I can't give you results.
If you get them installed any time soon let us know, thanks.

I' ve got them and they seem to work as advertised. The quality is top notch. Too bad you can't see them when they are installed that would be an added bonus
How hardwas it to put on,I don't have much experience working on HD.

It was easy for me as I was doing a 95" kit at the time.I had the whole top end opened up.I see in the instructions they say you can do it without removing the gas tank.If they say you can I'm sure you probably can,but I'm also sure the rear is going to be a mother.I think you'll probably have to at least raise the rear of your tank.If you have fuel injection make sure you disconnect the fuel line or it will snap off(don't ask me how I know). As far the actual installation it's just two bolts on each unit.Take out the old and put the new in their place.Good luck I'm sure you can do it.
Doherty recommends drilling the drain holes in the rocker supports out w/a #43 bit. I installedthe Mystfrees (w/drilling per instructions)in my 95" & haven't had any misting whatsoever, but it's winter here & haven't been putting on the miles either...
I see in to instructions that you have to cut a bolt off, how do you remove the remaining part or do you?
