Default oil leaking

I have oil dripping from my breather tube days after parking it in my pole barn, at least half a quart and it is still dripping, any suggestions ( 87 FLHTC S & S 96 sidewinder ) only thing done to the motor this year is an oil change and the addition of a slide carb. I was out there last night and its still dripping, haven't had it running since last Thursday so its been dripping for week now ad i had a nice puddle on the floor.

how full was your oil level, this is something that happens on the older evo's, start it and run it and it will clear up. then check your oil level making sure yoou keep the level between the lines. this only happens to mine when it sits for some time.

bought the bike new in 87 and this is a first, I have always done the maintenance myself. the only thing different this time was I put synthetic in there with half a quart of lucas stop leak as I read this on this forum and now I'm thinking about going back to harley oil as I've never had any issues before this with oil. yea once in a while after it sits it would blow a gob out when I start it but the oil is still dripping out after a week of setting idle. last night I was out there and in 15 min or so it dripped about 4-5 times. but before yesterday I hadn't been out in the barn since last thursday and there was a hell of a puddle there under the bike and like I said its still dripping out

found out the bike was sumping and changed the ball and re seated it and seems to be working well with no oil coming from the breather tube.
