Geez, I'm gettin' all excited thinkin' about buying a 120R then!!!
There's finally the justification in buyin' one.

It would probably pay for itself in a matter of a few years then following that train of thought, no? That being a bigger motor uses less gas...

I need to call fm and confirm this but from all the reading I have done a 107 kit with type A heads and possible tb polish and install cr's. Should get me a nice extra bit of power without crank work, slight upgrade to clutch (spring maybe plates) and stock compensator.

I just put together a 107 this winter and with a 3cc dome CP piston, Woods 777 cams, 2-1 and Intake I came out at 98HP and 111Tq. Its peak Hp is at 5800 and Tq is 3200. I'm a 270lb Rider and have a passenger about 5,000 miles a year roughly. Running a Barnett spring and have had no issues. This is a fun amount of HP and the Torque is amazing no shifting to pass in 6th. With any amount of head work and throttle body work you will be well over 100 HP. I did my Crank however and theTimken Bearing conversion. I had significant wear on my oil pump and my crank measured .011. The bike had a set of Woods Tw6-6 cams in it before. It depends on how you ride, I'm 23 so it gets abused. Just a thought.

Like some of the other members have said.." give Jamie a call at Fuel Moto; he's top notch when it comes to customer service. I believe in some of his packages he has installed the AIM VPC (variable pressure clutch) and he's had good sucess with this clutch, as many other members here have. Also, just a word of caution: sometimes when you start mix matching all kinds of parts, you get disasterous results. So take the time give him a call ask him what he recommends and go from there....you won't be disappointed. Just my $0.02 Good luck !

I had 22,000 miles on the bike before I did it. I agree with Joe98 on not mix and matching parts. Do your homework and talk to people and get different opinions. I was planning on doing a set of Hillside stage 4 heads and an HPI throttle body this comin winter but its look like tranny upgrade will need to happen first. I have had three six speeds apart this summer to replace the dog rings and third gear, all three bikes are making 110 plus. Two of the three I talked into going with a DD7 Baker.

Is that right?
The VE is not as high on those, as our hand-built powerplants, and on another note, we currently have a 12R in here that has .016" pinion shaft runout.
One our clients that works for the U.S. Border Patrol, here in northern N.Y.
has one of our 124"er has seen 54 mpg, and has dynoed well north of 150/150. FWIW.

I wasnt planned on mix matching jusy using the straight forward fm recommended parts. Just wanted to see what others had done in regards to clutch n crank and whether they felt they had made the right decision now they have some miles on the build
