Hello all---it's been a while since I've posted. To those who remember this newbie----yes, I'm still at war in Iraq; but only about 5 months to go.
Okay---my 06 Deluxe has been ordered and I take delivery in Jan/Feb when I get back. My plan is to go with V&H bigshot staggered along with the fuel management system that V&H sells. From reading all the posts--am I correct to say that I don't need a remap if I purchase the fuel management system and this system is better than the remap because it's adjustable. Also--I keep seeing "Stage 1, etc" Is this just the high flow air filter???? Do I purchase the high flow filter from Harley??
It's amazing how lost I am now or maybe it's just that I want to make sure. I'm thinking the concept is the same that I've used on all of my crotch rockets. My last one had yoshimura pipes, high flow air cleaner, and a power commander. Others used the pipes, air cleaner, and a remap---but they couldn't adjust it on track days--they were stuck with the settings while I could adjust according to the track.
