Got one today. Easy to program and set up with the map I need right here on the couch. Installed the new Accelerator pump feature and enabled the extended rev-limiter. But, I see there is a "Set Throttle Position" setting, and I assume this has to be done after connected to the bike??? dumb question, but whats the easy way to set this component up?
Got it installed on the bike tonight. I've got a new Softail Custom and it was a bitch to get that thing installed in there. HD could not have packed anything else in that battery compartment I don't belive. But its on and my new V&H Big Radius are on along with the SE Air Kit, but it'll be tomorrow before I give it a test run. It late and 15 degrees outside, so I am going to have a big margarita and call it a night!
Ride it to get the engine warm first. Only need to do the closed throttle setting. I think mine was at 6%.
DynoJet tech support told me the full-throttle setting was just as important. All you have to do is click the "Reset" button and blip the throttle to 100% very quickly and it'll set both 0% and 100%. Here's the description in the manual:
To reset both the closed and open throttle positions, first make sure that the bike is communicating to the computer, then click on âResetâ. Twist the throttle wide open and release. Now click OK.
Might as well do both, as it isn't any more trouble.
