Default Problem removing head bolts! Help

I was removing my head bolts this afternoon, everything was going fine 1/4 turn at a time, until when I was removing the rear jug, I realized that one of the head bolts hadn't loosed from the cylinder stud and it had loosened all the way and unscrewed. I removed it with the jug. What do I do now? Obviously the head bolt and stud are still together. Should I try to separate them? Everything thing else is good. I've taken the piston heads off, and can continue with cam replacement tomorrow but I will need to learn how to fix this ASAP. suggestions?
Thx in advance.

Complete the task at hand and thread it back in. as long as nothing stripped it should be fine.

Seperate them and put the stud back in the case!

Are you sure you possess the basic mechanical knowledge to be tackling this job?

Yes, I am sure. I took my bike apart down to the frame last year and rebuilt it and changed the cams. However when something happens that isn't in the book it freaks me out a bit. The say to be so careful with these posts, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't messed up the rod. I appreciate your concern though!

Double nut the exposed thread and use a socket wrench on both ends.

Squirt some penetrating oil where the stud/head bolt meet.
Let is set for a couple hrs.
Grab the stud in a vise, being careful not to harm the threads, and break the head bolt loose.(If no luck, heat may be needed.)
Make sure all is clean, then apply Loctite to the stud and thread it back in, with a stud removal/installation tool.
No need whatsoever to purchase new parts.

Sorry if I came across as crass I just didn't know any other way to say it. It just seemed like such a simple problem to be asking for advice - that is the reason for the "mechanical aptitude" question.

This forum/thread is not a place for arguing. I've removed a few posts to keep the flow going. Let's discontinue the childish behavior.
