Default Rush slip-on baffle size

Have a 2013 Street Glide. Replaced a Super Glide with the 96. Enjoy the performance of the 103 but would like to change the sound and am thinking of Rush slip-ons. What size baffle should I go with to improve sound but not interfere with performance, require tune and create decel popping? Dealer recommends 2.5. I am thinking nothing more like 2.0. May do the full stage 1 later but not sure. Thanks for input.

I just took some 2.0s off my Fat Bob, sounded much better than stock but did have decel pop with the Harley Stage 1 map downloaded on the ECM. You will probably need a fuel tuner if you want to get rid of all decel popping. I have the Power Vision now with Bassani Road Rage pipes but I am just getting started with the whole tuning part.

If I recall correctly, according to Rush: You should utilize the 2.25" or the 2.5" baffles w/ the stock headers because of the catalyst. They do say that you can run their slip on muffler w/out any map adjustments as long as you do not install a hi-flow air cleaner.
Yet because we know the difference a dyno tune can make we would recommend you get the bike tuned w/ any mods. In fact you would probably be surprised in the difference a dyno tune can make on your bike in complete stock condition. But I understand that sometimes you may just want some sound as economically as possible. So the choice/decision always is solely yours.

Default Thanks

I appreciate it. I most likely will do the complete stage 1 in the near future. Did that with the Super Glide and still had popping. Even after the SEPST though no dyno. Enjoy the performance of the SG now but would like a little more sound. Just don't want to mess up performance.

If you are going to "decat" go with the 1.75", if the cats are staying the 2.0" are plenty loud after break in. 2.5's are loud on a radio bike.
