Bone stock w/slip-ons... Decel pop damaging motor?
Question- for about 6 months I've been running a stock setup on my '12 street bob with cycle shack slip ons. I just took a job that will have me doing a 150 mile drive one-way (in FL) about once a week.
I get a moderate amount of Decel pop with the bike, which I never noticed with the stock mufflers... I don't actually mind it too much, barely notice it anymore
1) are the slip ons causing the pop, or was the pop there before but muffled by the stock setup?
2) am I risking damage by running this way long term/long distance?
I've taken a few decent road trips so far and no problems, but I don't want to continue running it if it's not good for it.
