I run a D&D Fatcat, so I have no dog in this fight.
I've been reading some very good reports about the Dragula line of performance exhaust. Give Frank at Drago Bike Works a call, discuss your build, and he should be able to hook you up with the right pipe/baffle configuration to maximize your performance. Apparently he told harleytuner (forum member https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...rleytuner.html) that he guarantees (full money back) his pipes will out perform the FatCat. http://www.dragosbikeworks.com/

Yes he did tell me that when we put his pipe on my brothers bike last year. It was advertised on his web site last year but I couldn't find it when I just looked, maybe he doesnt offer it anymore or more than likely I just over looked it. So ya might want to give him a call to see if its still his guarantee.

That's a pretty hard claim to back up. What does it mean? Outperform? Higher max horsepower? Higher max torque? Better average h.p. through the entire rpm range? Broader torque curve? Some engine builds respond better to different pipes than others. There is no "best." at least in my opinion. There are a lot of great 2 ino 1s available these days.
I'm sure the Drago's pipe is a fine unit, so are a lot of others. You can't go wrong with D&D, legendary performance, unsurpassed fit and finish (their chrome is beautiful) and customer service is great. The newer V&H are really good and cheap. Supertrapp is really flexible as to sound and "tunability." Thunderheader, Bassani and R&B also are great performers. Why not look around and see which pipe you think looks and sounds the best to you, honestly they all perform pretty well.

He required dyno sheets with bith pipes with 10 days of each other (I think it was ten days anyways). So I guess his out perform claim is on HP and TRQ. i run a Fatcat on my 110" bike and really like it, I put the Dragos pipe on my brothers bike when we put the 98" in it, we didn't run it with a Fatcat but I will say that I really doubt the FatCat would've performed as well as the Dragula. Not saying it would be worse neither. I can also say that the fit and finish on the Dragos pipe is every bit as nice or even nicer than the D&D. IMO the ceramic coating on the inside and outside is very nice, absolutely no discoloring after a season of riding.
I will have to disagree with you on Bassani being a "great performer" though. I tune an awful lot of bikes and IMO Bassani is one of the biggest POS's there is, right along with V&H dresser duals.
Here's the sheet on my brothers Road King, it's 98", Andrew's 55 cams, our shops heads and the Dragula. I did the tune with a TTS. Compression is 10.5:1.
I have a FLHTP with a 103" I had Rinehart mufflers on the stock headers. I know have Vance & Hines true duals with the Rineharts. I see so many choices I wish I could afford to try them all. I was told that for all practical purposes that most exhaust was just a matter of choice, no huge difference in performance for regular riding. I kept the true duals more so because its a Bagger. I like the looks of them all. Mine sounds good, not to loud but will make some fuss when I want it to.
