runing prob

any one ever have ther bike when i start it some times it only hits on one cylinder and with in 2 seconds the other one kikes in.out a new ultima ignition kit in it and it still the same thing. any help wood be grat full.thanks

it is a 1997 fxdwg and it has a new mikuni hrs42 carb. new ultima programmable ignition kit in it new accel wires. has 125 comp on both cylinders.has new intack gaskets.

Since it only happens intermittanly and ony for 2 seconds it will be hard to fined the problem. Since it is carb its not fuel leaking down into 1 cyl and has to clear out extra fuel on start. If it were mine I would get a inductive KV tester that you hold onto the spark plug wire it has a small light in it and when it picks up megnatick field of the voltage in the spark plug wire it flashes. And every time you start it hold it on one of the wires, When it does miss hopefully you will be able to rule out a spark issue and or if you have a spark issue on 1 cyl foe 2 sec.
