Whats the best wayto upgrade HP, torque, and overall performance on a 08 Road King with 40k, stage one exhaust, im replacing the primary iiner bearing witch was making noise, also chain is a little streched, I have adjusted the clutch three times since new, any thoughts ?
Have you been in the cam chest to look at the chain tensioners? While you're in there replace the inner cam bearings & install some Andrews TW21's or 26's IMHO. Assuming you have a decent air cleaner, you would want to add some fuel also. That's usually my first step with some decent exhaust.

thanks.
Bore your cylinders to 107", and one of several torque-oriented cams for starters, and with the addition a good set of heads, that will only add even more to it yet.

First thing I ask a customer when they want to do motor up grades what you want out of the engine and where do you want the power to come on up too what RPM. Keep in mind on the street most of the time you are not running high RPM. You build a motor different ways to do different things.
