The ones that come stock are cast aluminum. Now if you are talking about cast steel why the heck would you want them? Aluminum ones cool much better.

3 13/16" castings are readily available to increase those to 97".
Have built a ton of those, and 97" Shovels as well.

Scott you are the man. Who makes them Axtell? I have a set of their 3 13/16 cylinders for my shovel I been building for the past 20 or so years. LOL I have to many irons in the fire for my situation.

Not sure if you are talking about Axtell but they say their EVO cylinders are cast iron but does not say ductile but maybe that part was left out of the listing. To go with the biggest bore 3 13/16 you will have to bore the cases but they do make a nice kit for 85 inches which you do not have to bore the cases.
I know the 3 13/16 cylinders Axtell cylinders and in the listing for them it does say ductile. I am sure a email will tell you for sure. Any how here is a link.

S&S heads, ported, with a Lieneweber L-6 cam, G carb.
More to it than meets the naked eye, to set those heads up for that cam, but we've been down that road many times before.
