I got some new Bitwell grips and a new throttle sleeve and initially was having problems with the sleeve sticking in the housing. I found that some of the sleeve was rubbing on the housing making it stick, so i shaved some off to aid proper movement. Now that everything in the throttle is moving smoothly the throttle cable is throwing me for a loop.
When the throttle cable is fully tightened the throttle adjustment arm, when at full throttle, is hitting the throttle stop. From previous experience i would tighten the throttle cable fully then loosen it till it was almost hitting the throttle stop, but at this point i have no room to back it off. Any suggestions?
To add to this the bike now stalls at idle and starts hiccuping at high rpm.
