I have a 2011 road king classic. it ran great. let dealer put on stage one upgrade with headers vance and hines slip ons and se stage one breather. also se 204 cams , super tuner and dyno tuned. putting out 85 hp. and 101 torque. this thing ideals terriable now and if I give it some gas steady it pops and like a back fire. is this normanl . just discusted
I am no pro, numbers look good for a 96", but it probably needs a better tune. What size motor, 96" or 103". I would think better numbers if it was a 103". Try to get it to some of the better tuners on this or other forums. Where are you located?

No it should run smooth without popping and backfiring.
I see you're From MI. Which dealer? I myself would not be happy and would be talking to them. They should have never given it back to you like that.

Before you spend any more money, go back to your dealer and ask to talk to the service manager about your bike. Be polite! They didn't tune your bike right, by the sound of things, and you want them to put it right. Insist he rides it to see for himself!
