Well I read the post by weevil. Sounds like alot of good info. But as a noob I still don't quiet know what is good or bad. What I do know is what id like and what I don't like. What id like is to twist the throttle and take off like a cheetah with a rocket up its ***. Loud, deep, &the thunderous. What I dont like, nasty pops when you let off the throttle, irregular idle. Id like to be pulled from the moment I open her up to the moment I let off. I like to cruise around town and hot dog it on the highway. Now I've looked at a couple of kits and hope someone with some knowledge and experience can throw their pennies in there. Currently I have an 2011 FXDWG (96") w/Rsd speed 5 & Samson 2n2 Hellraisers. & HD stage 1 dl. Now I've looked at the fuelmoto 107($1300), SE Pro Stage III($1400) & stage IV(2300), looked at S&S106 but they didn't have anything specific or price more ala cart I guess. Fuelmotos had 4 cams u can choose from, more confusion. Does anyone have any thoughts and recommendations? Nearest HD dealer does %15 (parts) for military so it would actually be a little cheaper. Also local cycle shop does 10% for mil as well & are cert harley tech. Thanks for any input/advice

We can certainly provide you with a very good combination..........and then some.
Scott
Scott, how would that work with u being in NY. I also have a PCV available. I stopped using it after HD blamed it for killing my battery and voided my warranty for that issue. Later I found out that's common HD practice to find a reason to get out of covering a warrantied bike. What sucks is that 7yr warranty cost $1900. Upgrading the engine, is it better to do it all at once or can you do little by little?
Scott-checked out your company page, how much does your 107kit run? How/wherecould it get installed? Do u sell as kit and ship?

I love what I have...I had it done all at once instead of by stage...I am impatient that way, plus less down time...It is a rocket from about 2500 on...
I did mine: cams last winter, Hillside 98" kit this winter, heads next winter. Not necessarily the best way to do it, but that is how I can afford to do it. I chose my cams based on where I wanted to go and my riding style, then when I was ready to go big, I called Scott and told him what cams I had and they built a kit to bring the best out of them. Forged Wiseco pistons Hillside machines to bring compression to a level that gets the cams to work. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't ask for and was very helpful in advice and assistance. Great guy to talk to.
Klown, sweet WG, the 12' came stock 103" didn't it, I remener I was kind of irritated when that happened. Got mine in August2010(96"), and next summer they came with a 103". Like what you've done with it.

Mac, it sounds to me that you would be best off not trying to work this out yourself, but getting someone else to do that for you. There are numerous ways of improving performance and the more you look, the more you will see! In other words find yourself a local tuning shop and talk to them. They will give you options and price breaks so you can make an informed choice. That is far better done in person, rather than on a forum like this. Of course you could always take up one of the two offers you have above!
