Default 96 - 110 tech question

Hello,

Looked everywhere and have not seen this addressed.

I have a 2008 Rocker with a 96 stage 2 (2:1 Bassani Road Rage pipe, PCV, SE 255 Cams, Air cleaner upgrade)

Ran across a great deal on some screaming eagle 110 cylinders that are diamond cut, and pistons (10.5:1) Are these cylinders bolt on to a 96 or do my cases need to come out and get work done too? I know that the stroke is the same, but the bore is larger on the 110 (4.0)

I see the screaming eagle 110 heads everywhere and know the downside of them. I'd send those out for a good port/polish job, and likely pick up a better cam combo. Clutch is not an issue with my open primary set-up (already changed it out.)

Thanks
JD

engine out, cases need to be bored. 106/107 is as big as you can go keeping the engine in bike. i just finished a 106 build and love it

Your cylinders bored to 107", is the largest you can go w/o splitting the engine cases, but if willing to do so, then bore the cases to accept a 4 1/8" cylinder.
That'll show 117", and in a VERY tame form, that'll roll out 125/135, and we've had them running as much as 141/144.
