Default 2009 FLHTCU Automatic Compression Releases

I'm toying with the idea of changing the cylinder heads on my 2009 FLHTCU and going to heads with the HD ACR ( Automatic Compression Releases ) while doing other work to the engine. My question is how "involved" is it to hook up and enable the ACR's. Will they just plug into the existing harness on my bike? Do I have to do modifications to the existing harness? Does the harness on the bike have to be replaced/upgraded. I understand that once they are installed they will have to be "enabled" through the dealer. I would greatly appreciate any advice from someone who already done this. Any help, advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

You will need to get the ARC Harness and change a couple pins around in the main harness. Then have them turned on. The instructions SUCK! Which makes it a pain but I'm glad I got it done.

An easy way is to wire them to your starter, a few guys I know are doing it this way, it works good. No need to buy a harness or activate it in the ecm. When you hit the start button they are on and when you let go they are off, so simple

Thanks for the feedback guys I appreciate the idea ... I would have never thought of wiring through the starter.
