02 sensor bung threads flat
My 2011 RG is getting Vance&Hines BIG SHOTS off a 2009 and I'm using the ThunderMaxx AutoTune with the 18mm wide band o2 Sensors. Well the pipes are used and upon installing the front sensor I notice the flat threads. So my local wrench Tried to tap it ( I asked to borrow the tap because I like to do everything myself) and needless to say he made it worse. But he did get a row or 2 of threads and got the sensor screwed in. Here's the Delema , I think it's cocked and not seated flush. Is this going to give me a problem? How important is the seal on the sensors? Here's photos of the low and high side due to it not being in 100% strait.

going to have a leak the sealing washer is not sealing the threads off. u will have to try it, and see if it has a exhaust leak. if it leaks just have to grind off weld and weld in another 18mm bung.
