Bruggy, for now the cam selection is limited to Andrews & (I think) Kuryakyn. As for cost, it's in therange of a gear drive but includes a new oil pump, camplate, etc. not included w/the price of gears.

just my 2 cents but I did the gear drive this winter and noticed no increase in noise at all. If they are shimed correctly you shouldn't really have much noise increase. I actually wanted to hear them and was disappointed. I ride with earplugs and it tunes you in tothe noises the bike makes and lets you isolate things a little better. Maybe I just got a good set of gears from S&S.

Keep us posted with the results! I still wish someone would come out with some numbers to give us some idea as to how long the shoes last with the roller chain/hydraulic sytem.
