It's the little things in life that can goof up your day.
New '14 RK, stage 1 with HD Street Cannons I put on a month ago.
So.....brand new bike with new pipes and I happen to snag one of the "Screaming Eagle" cast badges on the pipe side, breaking the mounting pins that hold it to the muffler wall. I broke it myself through some shop-time negligence (long story) , so I not going after warranty.
Not a service part so can't be ordered. Dealer says can't help me. According to dealer HD says can't help me. HD suggests I can obtain the badge only buy ordering set of new pipes. (Ya- right). Been a salesman for OEM product all my life and have went to great lengths to help people out on situations like this, so I'm a little disappointed. Right now I have a new bike with a new pipe sporting three small ugly mounting holes on the pipe side.
Anyway- Anyone know who is making the Street Cannon for HD? They are outsourced. Thought I'd try to chase them myself.
Thanks
A friendly and sympathetic parts guy at an HD dealership might be willing to try to find out for you where those pipes are made, which would then allow you to contact that vendor directly and explain your need for a new emblem.
My dealer's parts guy casually mentioned one day that many of HD's exhausts come from Cycle Shack, so at least TRY calling Cycle Shack. Even if they don't supply the system you bought, they might be able to tell you who does.

I looked and I can not find anything that discloses which little Chinese noodle factory is responsible for the Screaming Eagle badge on your mufflers. That is going to be extremely difficult to track down without some vendor information and there is only one place where you can get that information. Can you fill the holes with rivets? I have loads of those here and can do that for you. The metal is too thin to flush them but some button heads wouldn't look bad.
