Why no Stainless?

Default Why no Stainless?
I can't stand the Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes that are installed on my bike now (they came on the bike), everyone has them, lol. I've been looking for something like the short shots, but in Stainless and can't seem to find ANYTHING other than touring exhaust is stainless. Why is this? I realize it's harder to weld and cost more, but they could recoup their costs with a higher MRSP right? lol

Nope. Not that big of a market compared to chrome

Stainless does not look as bright as chrome. It does not polish up the same colour.

Fuel Moto is working on a new E-series exhaust system; touring systems are out and softail and dyna due to come out soon. Most Fuel Moto systems are done in SS or ceramic coated SS. You can see the touring systems via the below link. Contact Fuel Moto and ask when the softail systems will be available; they are worth waiting for as their pipes make TQ.

Thanks for the info DJL. I guess I should have stated that I was looking for a "raw" stainless exhaust system, lol. I hate chrome, I love the way a raw stainless exhaust looks with the discoloration from the welds and heat, looks sick IMO.

I'll check out fuel moto for sure though!

Stainless is easy to weld FWIW. You could always pick up some Burns exhaust stuff. Its SS.

Other exhaust companies don't have the vision or the ***** to create something original.
