WLA was a war machine the lights were silted so as to not draw attention to its self
in the states use as military police it would come down to I believe they were a push button on then one again when pushed, as blinkers with a flasher was still far off even in cars one one person would know for sure
look up bruce Palmer 111 he wrote the book on them, 45s to include the military machines
It Was in fact a WLC But when I brought it the chap sold the engine he said it was worn out and he had a Wla spare !
and brought the fuel lines new front mudguard ect
which I wish he hadn't as I would have preferred a WLC but never having either until mid last year I Just as happy with it being a WLA engine
