So as not to give anyone an excuse to hassle me, I came up with a hack for the plate sticker.

Some scrap aluminum and rattle can paint. I bolted it to the license plate support plate. I tried cutting down another NYS plate sticker, but that's a PIA. It also didn't stick well to the crusty, lower right corner.

I can live with this. I have a black inspection sticker plate coming from J&P Cycles. I will put that on the left front fender bolt for the front.
