Default Does a 1944 Flathead 74 cubic inch exist?

I've looked all over for any information on a 1944 Flathead 74 cubic inch with absolutely no luck. Anybody know anything about this model?

Short answer...yes, but not sure of total production numbers. For 1944 MoCo produced the Model 44-UL 74 cu in twin, high compression solo and the Model 44-U 74 cu in twin, medium compression.

Here ya go! I just got home from the auction. We were told it was one of 497 civilian models, but I have no idea if that is true.
