I am in the process of restoring a 55 G model trike. I came by this bike as a stroke of luck! A friend called me /told me about it, it was his neighbors.
Any way 2weeks & 20+ hrs of talking, i aquired it from the owners brother. ONLY on the condition that after i get it compleet, I incorperate the former owners initials in the paint job as a tribute to him & send photos to his brother& family. the former owner was a "die hard biker" who had lost a long difficult battle with cancer several years ago. His brother has empowered me tocreate this bike in his memory. I am in the process, it started thursday night for the first time since 1971, i believe is what his brother said.
I will post pictures as soon as i can!!!!
Cool, get the pictures going! If it were me I would have a custom set of initials done in chrome to honor the person along with a "in memory" mention somewhere on the trike.
