Hi all, would I post here for questions about my 54 KH? I'm looking for the correct finish for the front motor mounts (black or parkerized) and placement of the front mount hardware (bolts, which way the washers face) and battery box part finish, same as front motor mounts
paint or parkerized?
I have had the bike for 15+ years tore it down about 4 years ago and now readdy for re-assembly.
So these questions are a start to get it back on the frame and I'm sure many more to come.
Terry, This is the right place, but you won't get many answers here. Not too much activity. I had a K about 10 years ago and I painted everything black, but if you are going to show the bike, then you need the right help. I would contact the AMCA (antique motorcycle club of America. I'm sure they could help you.
