Hi All, I'm thinking of doing a 12V conversion on my 1946 WL 45. Has anyone used the generator #DGV-5000LMH from Cycle Electric Inc. on their WL 45 Flathead and if so, did you have to do any modifications to the foot clutch? Unit is 7.58 inches from the gasket surface to the fins. It Doesn't look like I'll have enough clearance because of the foot clutch.
Also anyone ever used the 12V conversion kit from "45 Restorations" and how did you like it?
